In 2018 and 2019, Clément had the incredible opportunity to join SPA Studios in Madrid. Immersed in the creative process, he contributed to the artistry by painting a wide array of stunning 2D backgrounds, designing intricate 2D layouts, and taking the lead on several scenes. Under the visionary direction of Sergio Pablos at SPA Studios, and with the expert art direction of Marcin Jakubowski and Szymon Biernacki, Clément helped bring a unique artistic vision to life. This experience had a profound impact on him, strengthening his skills and broadening his creative perspective, ultimately shaping him into a more versatile and confident artist. laus was released on 8 November 2019 and received critical acclaim for its animation, story, emotional depth, humor, narrative, and vocal performances. It won seven awards at the 47th Annie Awards, including Best Animated Feature, and also won Best Animated Film at the 73rd British Academy Film Awards.
